Be Prepared!
Having been one of the main rescuers during Hurricane Katrina, we are advising everyone to stock up on food and supplies for your companion, animals and your families.
The possibility of losing power due to the potential damage from high winds is possible along with the massive flooding according to local news.
Make sure you have all your supplies and if you know of any animals that are in danger being kept outside and there’s anything you can do, please help! You are their only voice! Please help if you know of a senior citizen that simply can’t get out for provisions and food for their companion animals.
Again, if you see an animal tied up or in danger, do something. When the storm hits animal control in the city, and county can not come out and aid in emergencies.
We recommend batteries, flashlights, candles, blankets, buckets, garbage bags, paper, towels to also add to your list.
ABOVE ALL BE SAFE!
