The state of Florida has declared a state of emergency in preparation for Hurricane Irma. Due to the current projected path of Hurricane Irma, we are no longer taking reservations at the following Pet Paradise resorts:
- Ft. Lauderdale
- Palm Beach
- Naples
- Sanford
- Palm Coast
Unfortunately, we can no longer fulfill any reservations that have been scheduled from
Wednesday, September 6, through Sunday, September 10. We understand the nature of the short notice; therefore, we will honor reservations that were scheduled for Wednesday, September 6. We ask that you pick up by the evening of Thursday, September 7, to allow time for you to plan accordingly. If not, we will follow the procedures regarding the mandatory evacuation process.
We recommend our customers consider using one of our inland locations that are
less likely to be severely impacted by the hurricane:
- Gainesville
- Orlando Airport
- Jacksonville Airport
- Jacksonville University Blvd
- Tallahassee
- Charlotte
- Atlanta
These resorts are all inland and have taken precautionary steps to prepare for the hurricane.
In the event one of our resorts is in a mandatory evacuation zone, we
will notify our customers who will have 12 hours to pick up their pet. All remaining pets
will be evacuated to another Pet Paradise resort.
Facebook will be our primary communication platform during this period. Each
resort will update its own Facebook page with critical customer information.
Safety is our number one priority for all our guests and staff. We will continue to monitor the hurricane's path.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email feedback@petparadiseresort.com.
