Village of BHI Updates
The Village Council has put a curfew in place from 5pm today through 9am tomorrow morning.

Visit the Village's Web site to learn the latest and make sure to subscribe to the Village's Voice email notifications for the most up-to-date information from the Village.
Ferry Operations Suspended Today; Last Ferry at 3pm
BHI Transportation has announced that ferry operations will be suspended today, August 3rd. The last ferry departing the Island today will be at 3pm. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, August 4th as soon as it is safe to do so. If you plan to depart the Island, remember that ferries are operating at 50% capacity.

Information will be available at the BHI ferry web site as it is available.

Brunswick County provides emergency information for citizens based on location through its CodeRED emergency notification system. Make sure to sign up using your BHI address to receive immediate notifications any time day or night.
August 2020 Island Report Available
Hard copies of the August Island Report should arrive in mailboxes soon. In the meantime, the electronic version is available on BHA's web site.

This month's issue focuses on the uniqueness of Bald Head Island as a barrier island and how its varying ecologies are distinct and yet innerwoven. Discover how BHA's Design Guidelines intentionally help support the long-term sustainability of the Island as development inevitably occurs.
With the State of North Carolina under Governor Cooper's Phase II Executive Order, many activities typically held on Bald Head Island have been cancelled or postponed.
