GRANDFRIENDS' DAY:
THANK YOU FOR A MEMORABLE DAY!
| | |
Thank you to PTF, our Helping Hands volunteers, staff, and senior helpers for making Grandfriends Day so welcoming and special. Most of all, thank you to our grandfriends for showing up in such wonderful numbers and making this one of our most attended Grandfriends Days yet!
It was so much fun to see the excitement at chapel as students spotted their grandfriends in the audience, with smiles and waves going back and forth! Those moments were a sweet reminder of the love surrounding our students.
Your encouragement, example, and faith help shape who our students are becoming. Thank you for investing in their lives, leading by example, and helping nurture the faith of the next generation!
| FALL FESTIVAL: THANK YOU FOR THE FUN! | | |
A huge thank-you to our MVC Student Council for planning the entire event, running stations and game rooms, and staying until everything was cleaned up afterward. These students worked incredibly hard from start to finish, and we are grateful for their leadership, teamwork, and dedication!
Thank you to our Helping Hands volunteers for donating candy and soda, assisting with setup, helping run stations and game rooms, serving ice cream, working the admission tables, and helping with cleanup.
We also want to thank:
-
MVC PTF for sponsoring and coordinating the dunk tank and bouncy house rentals.
-
MVC FFA and Mrs. VanValkenburg for continuing to bring the petting farm to campus and sharing their animals, time, and knowledge with our community.
-
Bay Baby Produce for donating pumpkins for our pumpkin painting station.
-
The Blanken family for coordinating and delivering decorations for our fall entry and photo display, creating a welcoming setting for both Grandfriends Day and Fall Festival.
-
Lopez Island Creamery for donating all the ice cream so everyone could enjoy a delicious treat! We are grateful for their faithful support of MVC and generous ice cream donations year after year.
A special thank-you to Dane Good Coffee Co., Taste of India, and Smash Daddy’s Burgers for working so hard to feed everyone. We’re proud to have Smash Daddy’s Burgers, owned and operated by one of our own MVC families, as part of our community!
With two food trucks unable to attend at the last minute, we especially appreciated our vendors’ efforts to serve such a large crowd. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during the longer waits for food!
Please continue to support these amazing local businesses that helped make our Fall Festival such a success!
We are blessed with an MVC community that steps up and shares its time, talents, and resources. Thank you to everyone who helped, attended, and celebrated with us!
