Palmetto Bay to Host Hurricane Preparedness Workshop
PALMETTO BAY, FL, JUNE 1, 2017 -
Hurricane season is officially here and the Village of Palmetto Bay wants residents to be ready! Join the Village of Palmetto Bay this Saturday, June 3rd for a Hurricane Preparedness Workshop at Village Hall starting at 11:00 am through 2:00 pm.
Vendors and agencies will be onsite to offer important tips and information and even talk about available discounts on home improvements related to hurricane protection.
Craig Setzer, Chief Meteorologist at CBS 4 Miami and Emmy Award winner is our special guest, along with Science and Operations Officer at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Kevin Scharfenberg.
