Yoga for Golfers

Designed for golfers looking to improve their golf game and minimize risk of injury.

Starting March 29th at the Plymouth Studio on Fridays from 4:15pm til 5:30pm

Slow flow minimum heat (75-80) with emphasis on holding positions to increase strength and flexibility, while becoming aware of breath and movement of energy and release of tension. Concentration on body awareness and proper breathing.

A focus on flexibility, balance, core stability and postural awareness- all key elements to a good golf game. As well as a concentration on mindful breathing to increase oxygen flow to muscles, relieving tension, and allowing rhythm and tempo in your swing. Proper breathing, helps enable activation of some of the anterior core muscles, which are a key factor for back safety and club head speed and power during the golf swing.

No yoga experience necessary.
