Happy May and Mother's Day! 
As a mother I would like to share the  privilege of witnessing my oldest son, David and his bride, Nicole, renew their vows of 15 years on Maui!  How cute is this pictures!? 
If you are a mom, congratulations on your special day!  Mom's deserve flowers, chocolate and time to dance!

















Special occasions are better with dancing! So of course we enjoyed dancing on the dinner cruise in the sunset.  But I did not hear any Hustle music most of the week we were on Maui so I am excited to HUSTLE!

This is the time of year that I play my dear friend and founding partner of the Hustle Club in 2000, Tom Clifton's  favorite music for Hustle and Night Club Two Step, and a couple Country Two Steps.  Tom passed in April 2009 and though I miss him at every dance, I know he is dancing in heaven!

This month I will teach one of Tom's favorite combinations in the intermediate lesson:  Behind the head slides to behind the back sliding doors and ladies underarm roll in. 

And now it's time to HU STLE!

The Juanita Community Club
13027 100th Ave. Ne, Kirkland

From I-405 take the 124 St. exit (#20) and go west to 100th.  Turn right (north) on 100th.  Turn left (west) onto "NE 130 Place", then right into the second driveway.  We're inside the large white wooden building at the top of the gravel driveway.  Or park along the street (NE 130 Place). If you get to 132nd, you have gone too far north.

B eginning Lesson  7:30-8:15 pm

No experience needed for this lesson and it is also a good chance to practice your basic footwork!  

Intermediate Lesson  8:15-9:00 pm

You should have a good understanding of the basics in Hustle. This lesson will show variations for the more experienced dancers but all are welcome to try! 

Dance Dance Dance!  9:00-11-30 pm

Although we focus on the Hustle, we have a great variety of music for your favorite dances, including West Coast Swing, Waltz, Cha-Cha, a little Country, Night Club Two Step and more.

$5 for one lesson                                                          
$10 for just the dance
$12 for one lesson and dance
