In March, 56ers will delve into a series called Proof. We live in a time when there is more information available from more places than ever before. Because of this overwhelming amount of information, 56ers will discover that we should dig for truth instead of taking everything at face value. But how do we do that? What should we challenge? Where do we look for what is right, true, and real? And why does all this matter? These are the questions we will answer through this series. When we seek truth, we are seeking God. God’s Word (the Bible) is the final objective authority on the truth, so we seek Him through His Word and trust Him to guide us as we seek the truth. Jesus says everyone who is genuinely looking for the truth will find it because God wants to answer our questions. Having a healthy faith means we know that there’s a gap between what we can prove and what we’re asked to believe in. When we open our hearts in faith, God opens doors to good things in our life. Ultimately, 56ers will learn to be honest with God: share their heart, ask their questions, seek and knock- because they’ll find God there, freely giving us His faithful love. |
