MARCH AT HIGHWAY 56

MISSION 56

March Service Project:

Highway 56ers will make Easter Cards on Sunday mornings for the recipients of our Easter Deacon Food Bags. Families are encouraged to come and help assemble and deliver food bags on March 23. It’s amazing what a little bit of your time can do for our community! Take this opportunity to be Jesus’ hands and feet!

Offering:

During the month of March, Highway 56’s offering will continue to go to the many needy orphans of Hope Alive! The children of Hope Alive would otherwise be left on their own in a very scary country. Let’s spread God’s love with our offering!

Earn a Ticket

Don't forget to do these things if you want to earn a ticket for the monthly drawing:

  • Bring your Bible on Sunday morning.
  • Tell a leader what the Bible verse means to you, or say it from memory.
  • Bring a friend who's NEVER been to Hwy56 before.
  • Wear your Hwy56 shirt to a meeting.
  • Bring offering for our mission.

Proof

In March, 56ers will delve into a series called Proof. We live in a time when there is more information available from more places than ever before. Because of this overwhelming amount of information, 56ers will discover that we should dig for truth instead of taking everything at face value. But how do we do that? What should we challenge? Where do we look for what is right, true, and real? And why does all this matter? These are the questions we will answer through this series. When we seek truth, we are seeking God. God’s Word (the Bible) is the final objective authority on the truth, so we seek Him through His Word and trust Him to guide us as we seek the truth. Jesus says everyone who is genuinely looking for the truth will find it because God wants to answer our questions. Having a healthy faith means we know that there’s a gap between what we can prove and what we’re asked to believe in. When we open our hearts in faith, God opens doors to good things in our life. Ultimately, 56ers will learn to be honest with God: share their heart, ask their questions, seek and knock- because they’ll find God there, freely giving us His faithful love.
