The national Main Street movement is celebrating 39 years of incredible, local economic development. Main Street America, a program of the National Main Street Center each year brings together practitioners of Main Street programs across the country to celebrate lasting successes, learn strategies from economic development specialists, and experience on-the-ground work in conference host communities.
The 2019 Main Street Now Conference, recently concluded in Seattle, Washington with 1,800 attendees, was another fantastic opportunity to meet others across the country to strengthen our community of local economic development programs. We are looking forward to bringing Hyde & Jackson Squares initiatives and techniques learned from this conference and prior ones.
Celebrating our 21st year in our community, we hope you are able to join us at our
Annual Party on Thursday, April 11 at The Frogmore to celebrate our successes, our hard-working businesses, and our community.

Join us for Mulchcapade & Centre Street Beautification
Every spring we care for Centre Street so that it sparkles and the trees and parks smell fresh. Enjoy the company of others as we mulch street trees, plant spring flowers and perennial plants, and paint bollards.
We'll meet at 9:00 am at Mozart Park and finish around 12:30 pm. Following up our hard work, we'll have a community lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Please RSVP with us at info@hydejacksonsquare.org or call us at 617-522-3694 and let us know if you have any shovels or wheelbarrows.

(maybe us)
Main Streets are the heartbeat of America's cities and towns. They play an important part in the long-term success of communities and really help build a sense of place. When Main Streets are strong, so are the communities that surround them.
The goal of the America's Main Streets contest is to help promote the importance and strong economic benefits of these Main Streets and the small businesses that help them thrive. Please help by nominating and telling about a deserving Main Street (like us). The winning Main Street will receive $25,000 in cash and related prizes to help revitalize that Main Street.
