Thanks to Volunteers for Beautifying Our Neighborhood
We had a great Centre Street Beautification on October 28 where 40 volunteers showed up to get our street trees ready for the winter and our public spaces ready for spring. With their support we were able to spread 10 yards of mulch on street trees, in Mozart Park, and in the municipal parking lot as well as plant dozens of shrubs and set 400 daffodil bulbs in Jackson Square at the mural. Thank you for your amazing work!

Hyde Square Reconstruction
Looking Good in Hyde Square
In Hyde Square, sidewalks are now widened and in place. Next up are more street trees, bike racks, and public art. The City of Boston's Public Works department has been quickly moving forward with reconstruction of Hyde Square to transform the area to be more pedestrian friendly and vibrant. Construction began in August and much of it has wrapped up.
We will be working with businesses to activate the new areas with commerce, entertainment, and art and we are looking forward to the successful completion of the work and re-energizing of Hyde Square.
