It was a great summer in Hyde & Jackson Squares with great theater, movies, music, and food. Moving into autumn we'll have our spirited bi-annual community cleanup and Annual Meeting where we'll lay out plans for the future and talk about last year's accomplishments in our business district. Celebrate fall with us.

Annual Meeting on October 23
Come to our
Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm as we report to the community on last year's successes and this year's plans. Enjoy complementary food and conversations with community members. For more information and to RSVP with us contact [email protected] or 617-522-3694.
Centre Street Beautification on October 27
On Saturday, October 27 from 9:00 - 1:00 join us on our bi-annual Centre Street Beautification as we plant flowers, pick up litter, mulch street trees, and enjoy a community lunch. This is always a great time to meet other community-minded folks and make Centre Street alive and sparkle for the fall and early winter.

A successful summer of Teatro, Movies, and our Cafés
We had our most productive and successful summer in years as we hosted a bunch of events from July through September
.
Escena Latina Teatro put on a spectacular series of outdoor performances on July 19, 20, and 21 with Cumbia de Mi Corazón in our Teatro en el Parque. The weather was great, the attendance was robust, and the shows were funny, inspiring, and thought-provoking. And each night before the shows we set up pop-up cafés with live Latin jazz, complementary food from local restaurants and food stores, and fun games and merchant displays.
Moreover on August 25 and September 8 we hosted our first two summer movies ever in our Movies in Mozart series showing first Coco and then Paddington 2. And like our Teatro shows we had complementary food from local restaurants and food stores as well as games for kids and adults alike. A special thanks to the City of Boston's Parks and Recreation Department for logistics support and making sure the park was well maintained and ready for our events.
