Hyland Hills Begins To Re-Open Select Facilities
Message From the Executive Director
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we want to thank you for your support and patience during the unprecedented time in our community, country and world. We are happy that the sun is shining, the grass is green and summer is right around the corner. We wish that we could return to a normal summer, but with the continuing risk of COVID-19, what we can offer to the community has been severely limited. However, as you will see in this newsletter, we are starting our second phase into re-opening some of our facilities, all with great caution and awareness that the health and safety of our guests and staff is the most important part of every decision we make.

We hope that you have enjoyed being able to recreate safely in our parks throughout the pandemic and I want to give a special hero shout-out to our dedicated parks and golf maintenance staffs who have worked in the field throughout the shutdown to keep our facilities in the great shape you have grown to expect from the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District. Please stay safe, stay healthy and enjoy the great outdoors!

Hyland Hills Foundation Golf Tournament Announces Cancellation

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and out of an abundance of caution for our players, staff and volunteers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's annual Hyland Hills Foundation Golf Tournament which is scheduled for July. The Foundation Board Members would like to thank past participants and volunteers for their continuing support, and they look forward to hosting the tournament in 2021. Should you want to make a contribution to the foundation to help provide recreational grants to children experiencing financial hardship during this unprecedented time, visit the Hyland Hills Foundation website.
