Hyperion Bank earned a 5-Star Superior rating – the highest rating – from Bauer Financial, an independent bank research & rating firm. The 5-Star Superior rating reflects Hyperion’s stellar financial strength and stability. Earning this coveted highest rating indicates that Hyperion is among the strongest banks in the country, excelling in capital adequacy, delinquent loan levels, profitability & other key measures.

Smart growth
Hyperion again among fastest-growing in region
|
|
“We are honored to receive this recognition and proud that the last four years of smart growth are especially noteworthy,” says Charlie Crawford, our Chairman and CEO. “This recognition of our success is a tribute to our employees, customers, business partners and investors who have helped us achieve and continue our smart growth.”
Lou DeCesare, Hyperion’s President & COO, says, “as has been our stance over the nearly 17 years since we were founded, we are not comfortable to rest on our laurels. Instead, this recognition – in addition to being an opportunity to say, ‘thank you’ to our employees and customers – is a challenge of sorts for us to continue to find better and better ways to leverage technology, first-class service and the best bankers around to bring community banking to the communities we serve.”
THANK YOU for growing with us. YOU are the reason we do what we do – and the reason for the growth and celebration.

Leadership recognition

Team Hyperion making ‘Strides Against Breast Cancer’
|
|
The event site will be filled with interactive tents for all ages, including sponsor giveaways and info. Making Strides officially opens at 8:30a and ends promptly at Noon. The actual walk should begin at 9:30a. (See the walk route. Route includes water stops & porta potties.) You do not have to complete the full 3 miles; this is a no-pressure event.
Team Hyperion has added emphasis to be part of this great event as one of our own, Nicole Hicken, was diagnosed in February with Stage 1B Lobular Carcinoma Breast Cancer. Nicole hit a milestone in her fight recently, ringing the bell to signal her last chemo treatment. As she gears up for her next round of treatments, we want to recognize her dedication and do our part for breast cancer treatment & awareness.
Making Strides raises lifesaving funds that support breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and caregivers. Each year in the U.S., some 240,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and 2,100 in men.
To join our team for the Oct. 15 walk, contact Nicole Leitz, 267-570-8430. Not able to be with us for Making Strides? Consider a donation to Nicole’s Support Squad team page. Hyperion Bank is matching contributions up to $5,000.

Collaborating with community partners
Hyperion’s Charlie Crawford was included in this article by Joseph N. DiStefano & The Philadelphia Inquirer re: non-bank lenders. As a community bank, Hyperion is happy to collaborate with partners like Spring Garden Capital Group who also are interested in building our communities – literally and figuratively.
We’re proud that our experts – your community bankers – are looked to for insights by media outlets, industry groups & others.
