Heartworm disease is a devastating medical illness that affects many dogs. At CAP, we provide treatment to over 120 heartworm positive dogs each year before they find forever homes.  Treatment for each dog can cost as much as $250!

The goal of the CAP I Heart Dog Hearts campaign is to raise money to help cover the $30,000 expense of giving heartworm positive dogs a second chance at life in 2020.
What's my name?!

This gorgeous girl was found emaciated with puppies in tow, and to make matters tougher she tested positive for heartworms. Her puppies have homes, but she is looking forward to spending the next 4-6 months with her foster mom while getting healthy and undergoing heartworm treatment. Even though she has been through a lot in life already, she continues to keep her spirits up. Things can only get better from here!
She has a foster home. She has our backing for heartworm treatment... Now she needs a name!

Cast your VOTE to help us name this girl by donating to the I Heart Dog Hearts campaign and enter your name suggestion in the "Special Notes" section on the donation page.
Donate to the I Heart Dog Hearts campaign and a heart with your name on it will be hung in our shelter.

Thank you for giving a heartworm positive dog a second chance at life!
