New Opposition to I-11 West Option!


The proposed Interstate11 and its preferred Avra route recommended by the ADOT is raising the ire of multiple organizations and individuals throughout Southern Arizona.


A recent Arizona Daily Star opinion piece written by Tom Hannagan, Board President of Friends of Ironwood Forest and active member of the Desert Fence Busters titled “Governor needs to rethink I-11 opinion,” outlines the poor planning and negative impact of this decision should it move forward. The Living Desert Alliance is sponsoring a table at the Town of Marana's 2024

Star Spangled Spectacular July 4th event.


It takes place next Thursday, from 5pm - 9:30pm, at the Crossroads at Silverbell District Park, located behind the Arizona Pavilions shopping center within the Continental Ranch neighborhood.


The event features free attractions including a splash pad, field games, inflatables, exhibitors, a Petting Zoo and much more. Stop by, can't wait to meet you!
