UPDATE! Brookhurst Street Bridge Traffic Shift
|
|
Crews shifted traffic on the Brookhurst Street bridge.
Two lanes and sidewalks are now open on both sides. With this major milestone finished, remaining activities include constructing a raised center median and final paving and striping.

COMING SOON! Garden Grove Boulevard Closures
|
|
Crews will close a segment of Garden Grove Boulevard/Valley View Street intersection over two weekends to perform roadway improvements.
The eastbound closure is anticipated as early as:

10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 11 to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 14.
The westbound closure is anticipated as early as:
- 10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 18 to 5 a.m., Monday Aug. 21.
Access to businesses and residental areas will be maintained.

UPDATE! Edinger Avenue Closure for Final Paving
|
|
Edinger Avenue will be closed an additional night between Parkside Lane and Newland Avenue for final paving. Access will be maintained on northbound and southbound Beach Boulevard.
This addtional closure will continue as early as TONIGHT, 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 to 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.

NEW! Beach Boulevard Partial Closures for Paving
|
|
Northbound and southbound Beach Boulevard will be partially closed nightly between McFadden Avenue and Edinger Avenue for final paving.
The nightly closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- TONIGHT, Aug. 4;
- Saturday, Aug. 5;
- Wednesday, Aug. 9;
- Thursday, Aug. 10; and
- Friday, Aug. 11
One lane will be open at all times during the partial closures.

The Westminster Boulevard/ Willow Lane intersection will continue to close nightly for drainage work for an additional month.
Nightly intersection closures began Monday, May 15, and are expected to continue through August.
Additional nighttime intermittent lane reductions are expected to continue through August.

UPDATE! Crews began curb, sidewalk and signal improvements at the Springdale Street/Navajo Road intersection. This work required the existing signals to be turned off and replaced with four-way STOP signs.
Activities began Thursday, May 4, and are anticipated to continue through approximately August.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.
