• Monday, Oct. 2, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3
• Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5
• Friday, Oct. 6, from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7
• Monday, Oct. 9, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10
• Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12

Motorists should follow the detour below. 

• From I-64 west, take exit 297 to South Military Highway
• Continue on South Military Highway
• Cross the Gilmerton Bridge
• Exit right to I-464 south
• Exit 1A to I-64 west (toward Virginia Beach) 
• Continue on I-64 west

Motorists should follow roadway detour signage and expect delays.

Alternating, single-lane closures on I-64 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the following locations:

• I-64 west from South Military Highway (exit 297) to I-464 Sept. 30
• I-64 in both directions from Bowers Hill to Shell Road (approximate mile marker 295) to High Rise Bridge Oct. 1-6 
• I-64 west from George Washington Highway (exit 296) to I-464 Oct. 2, Oct. 4 and Oct. 6
• I-64 west from Battlefield Boulevard (exit 290) to Shell Road (approximate mile marker 295) Oct. 5-6

Overnight closure and detour of the Military Highway on-ramp to I-64 west Sept. 30 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Oct. 2 and Oct. 4 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., and Oct. 6 from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

Motorists traveling on Military Highway should continue to George Washington Highway and take a right on George Washington Highway to access the I-64 on-ramp.

Overnight closure and detour of the on-ramp from George Washington Highway north to I-64 west Sept. 30 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Oct. 2 and Oct. 4 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and Oct. 6 from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

Motorists should follow the cloverleaf detour below:

Overnight closure and detour of the on-ramp from George Washington Highway south to I-64 west Sept. 30 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Oct. 2 and Oct. 4 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and Oct. 6 from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

Motorists should follow the detour below:

Overnight closure and detour of the I-64 west off-ramp to I-464 north (exit 291A) Oct. 1, Oct. 3, and Oct. 5 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Motorists should follow the detour below:

• Continue on I-64 west 
• Use exit 290 to the Battlefield Boulevard loops to access I-64 east 
• Take exit 291A to I-464 north
