I-64 Southside Widening and High Rise Bridge Expansion Project
Slight Traffic Shift on I-64 West Near Shell Road Overpass, as early as March 30

Motorists traveling on I-64 west should expect a slight lane shift this week beginning near the Shell Road overpass (mile marker 295). Travel lanes will be shifted to the right for a short distance to enable roadway widening operations to occur in the existing median area.

The traffic shift will be in place as early as Tuesday morning, March 30, weather permitting. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times during daytime hours, with single lane closures at night to facilitate this shift.
