The on-ramp to I-64 east from George Washington Highway south will be closed, tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 11:59 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17.

Overnight Closure of Great Bridge Boulevard at the I-64 Overpass

Great Bridge Boulevard between Tennyson Street and the I-64 off-ramp will be closed to all traffic Thursday, Feb. 17, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Motorists should follow the detour below. Detour information will also be designated with signage along the roadway.

Traveling South on Great Bridge Boulevard
  • Right on Booker Street
  • Left on Bainbridge Boulevard
  • Left on Dominion Boulevard
  • End detour and turn left/right on Great Bridge Boulevard

Traveling North on Great Bridge Boulevard
  • Left on Dominion Boulevard
  • Right on Bainbridge Boulevard
  • End detour and turn left/right on Great Bridge Boulevard
Other Traffic Impacts

  • Alternating, single-lane closures on I-64 west between I-664 north/Route 13/Route 58 (exit 299) and Shell Road (overpass), Feb. 7-20, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Double-lane closure on I-64 east between Greenbrier Parkway (exit 289A) and I-464 (exit 291A) on Feb. 14-18, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Flagging operations on Shell Road at the I-64 overpass, Thursday, Feb. 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Overnight Closure of the I-264 ramp west to I-64 west, Monday, Feb. 14, to Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
