Motorists traveling on I-64 west should expect a slight lane shift at the end of the High Rise Bridge. At the foot of the High Rise Bridge, travel lanes will shifted to the right to enable paving operations to occur in the existing median area.
Work will occur over several nights beginning as early as Tuesday, Nov. 17 (updated date) to complete this lane shift. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times during daytime hours, with single lane closures at night to facilitate this work.
All project work and scheduled closures are dependent upon weather conditions.
Motorists are reminded to obey the reduced 55 mph speed limit and be mindful of crews working on the interstate.
