The I-84 widening project has reached a new milestone. The new center lanes of I-84 in Nampa are complete.

Beginning Friday, June 5, at 10 p.m. , eastbound I-84 traffic will be shifted to the center lanes. This work will continue until Monday, June 8 at 5 a.m. . Several ramps will be impacted.

What to expect:

Friday, June 5:
  • A temporary signal on the free running right turn at the Karcher/Midland Blvd. eastbound on-ramp will begin directing ramp traffic.

Friday, June 5 at 10 p.m. to Saturday, June 6, at 10 p.m.:
  • Traffic for Karcher Rd., Northside Blvd. and Franklin Blvd. must exit at the Karcher/Midland Blvd. exit 33.
  • No other exit until Idaho Center/Garrity Blvd. exit 38 in Nampa.
  • Ramp traffic will be reduced to 40 MPH.

Saturday, June 6 at 10 p.m. to Monday, June 8, 5 a.m. :
  • Karcher/Midland Blvd. exit 33 will exit and enter I-84 normally.
  • Traffic for Northside Blvd. and Franklin Blvd must exit at Northside Blvd. exit 35.
  • No other exit until Idaho Center/Garrity Blvd. exit 38 in Nampa.
