I Hear The Sound! 2/9/20
1 Corinthians 14:8 (KJV)
8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
All morning long, I HEAR THE SOUND OF THE ARMY OF THE LORD, an antique children's song I used to play in children's choir/Church and even among adults in PRAYER MEETING settings-plays an endless loop in my head and heart.
I DO know, however, if there were ever a time in history, we need THE ARMY OF THE LORD to both enlist and ARISE!!!
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (KJV)

9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
In his excellent song, NEW YORD MINUTE, the poet Don Henley wrote:

The SOUND of the Lord is trumpeting throughout our land today!!!!!

Beloved, it is NOT a time to hide or retire!!!!!!

It is high time that WE “STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD, WHICH IS IN THEE..............”

Let US never lose sight of our goal nor waver in our commitment to this battle.
As my old mentor, Brother Mushegan used to often quote:
“I AM GONNA FIGHT THE DEVIL TOOTH AND NAIL AND WHEN MY TEETH WEAR OUT I'M GONNA GUM HIM TO DEATH!!”
