- After months of discussion and planning, today, January 21, is the day the work begins!
- This morning, the steep front stairs that have kept many folks from our front doors, will be demolished so that new, more easily accessible stairs can be built.
At 3:00 p.m. The Annual Friends meeting will be called to order.
MEMBERS MUST PARK IN THE BACK AND USE THE ELEVATOR
Aiken Council County Chair, Gary Bunker, who has been an avid
supporter of the renovation project, will attend the meeting.
Just for the Friends, there will be a "Sneak Preview" of the new library plans. They reflect extensive input from our community as to what they want in their library. The plans you'll see include internal renovations as well as a new front elevator and North Wing renovation.
The election of Officers for 2020 will also be held.
