Hello dear Freedom Lovers!

Happy 1 year anniversary! One year has passed since the founding of this chapter - Indivisible North East Bay! My deep gratitude to you all in joining to resist and fight for a better future in all the ways you are able. The regime has weakened and the dems are finally fighting back, thanks to the power of the people who have made courage contagious.

Last week I was out sick and caring for sick kids last week so my apologies for no newsletter last week.

We recently won a grant in partnership with our sister chapters IWCCC and Richmond Indivisible! Our first event: a talk by john a. powell this Saturday, 3-5 PM at Contra Costa College.

Hello Indivisible North East Bay, friends of Democracy,

Early in 2025, a few of us in IEB began The Blue Dot Project–cold calling Indivisible groups in red states to connect and offer assistance. One of the groups who enthusiastically responded were a mother and daughter team, Heather and Leila Staton in rural Iowa, aka The Insufferable Wenches. Fast forward to today, and Leila is running for state house office in the November election.

Leila recorded a message for us after helping to organize Cedar Valley, Iowa’s, thousand-plus No Kings rally last weekend.
