I NEED YOUR PRAYERS!!! 2/1/26
2 Corinthians 10:3–5 (KJV 1900)
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
GOOD AFTERNOON from COLD and UN-SNOWY Georgia!!!
After two weekends in a row of ominous and DIRE predictions of doom and gloom, all we are experiencing, (at least in my neck of the woods), is HORRIBLE, CRIPPLING C-O-L-D!!!!!
It has been an unexpected “hard” winter as far as Georgia goes? I recently read on FB that the “meteorologists” were forecasting a MILD February...... !!!!?????
O well, enough complaining.
The last couple of months have been VERY challenging for me personally-I have been in crippling stomach/abdomen pain that even necessitated a trip to the ER.... and of course, most of you too well know the state of “health care in America today!
Just try to get a doctor appointment in a timely manner......
I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE my lack of posting these messages. I do not like to share my personal pain and never want to post a discouraging Word!!!!
Much like that line in the movie GODFATHER, “just when you think you are out.... they suck you back in!!”
I keep hoping, TRUSTING AND PRAYING to be healed-AMEN!!!!! I STILL BELIEVE THAT GOD CAN, WILL, AND DOES STILL HEAL!!!!

How do I creatively say this??
This past Tuesday, Jan. 28, I received word that my high school BEST FRIEND had passed away. We have known each other for over 60 years and in fact, I was scheduled to visit him that Thursday.
His name is Mike Buice and I dearly loved this young man!!!
Immediately following this devastating news, my wife called to let me know that she had called an ambulance for little Amanda!!! To make a long story shorter, she spent the next three nights in the hospital with pneumonia.
NOW, beloved, am NOT ashamed or afraid to let YOU know I am SCARED and WORRIED!!! I have been here before................. and well know that God is God.
Amanda is my heart and my wife and I have fought the devil on her behalf for 23 years!!

Sometimes, beloved, WE can only do so much......
Doctors and hospitals, and medicines, and surgeries can only do so much.......
ULTIMATELY God is the HEALER!!!!!
In my heart and my flesh I want to take her back to the hospital NOW!!!
She came home Friday night but still is running a fever and very sluggish.........
Like the old song sang:
“ITS NOT MY MOTHER OR MY FATHER BUT ITS ME O LORD.....
STANDING IN THE NEED OF PRAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
I need YOUR PRAYERS today!!!
My wife NEEDS your PRAYER today!!!
And my Amanda desperately NEEDS your PRAYER right now.
I am TRUSTING in:
Romans 8:28 (KJV 1900)
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
This is THE Scripture I felt I “heard” when admitting her in the hospital.
God further assured me with this:
Isaiah 40:29–31 (KJV 1900)
29He giveth power to the faint; And to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall:
31But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; And they shall walk, and not faint.
I AM WAITING ON THE LORD!!! I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE!!!!
PLEASE PRAY FOR US AND I WILL ALSO PRAY FOR YOU!!!!
