"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

1 John 1:7-8

OFFICERS' TRAINING & WESTMINSTER STANDARDS MEN'S STUDY 2023

We began our biennial study of the Westminster Confession of Faith and Westminster Catechisms last week. The study is on Wednesdays and begins at 5:30 PM in the Administration Building, second floor, Assembly Room. Though this is required of all new officer candidates, all men in the church, candidates and non-candidates, are encouraged to participate. Previously recorded lessons can be viewed here. There is also a tab on the IPC app that takes you to the recorded lessons.

If you plan to attend, we ask that you please refrain from parking in the IPC lot while attending the Officer Training Class this season. Spaces are limited and are reserved for choir members. Instead, you may park for free at the Jackson Ward lot at the end of the lane. More instructions about parking will be communicated the week class begins.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Summer Sunday School quarter began June 4th. Sunday school occurs at 9:00 AM and lasts until 9:40 AM. For details about your Sunday school class, visit the website. This quarter is not elective, so you will return to the class that corresponds to your age.

BIBLE READING PLAN FOR 2023

For 2023, we will offer the Navigator's Book-at-a-Time Bible reading plan. Hard copies will be available on Sundays and in the church office; you can use the provided pdf as well. We are also working to implement this reading plan in our IPC app for your smartphone or tablet. In the year ahead, ask God each day to speak directly to you from the Scripture portions you read. Be expectant, and let your continual exposure to God’s Word reshape your attitudes and behavior as you gain a better understanding of every part of His written testimony to us.
