Hi Mia,

Over and over I hear from community members that the incumbent for our Assembly district is inaccessible and doesn't listen to the concerns of our communities. Just listen to these public comments from Thursday's Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council Candidate Forum. These neighbors called out my opponent for not showing up for them. I feel their rage - it happened to me too, and it's one of the many reasons I decided to run.

When I'm in the Assembly, I pledge to be responsive to the needs of our district. I will host quarterly townhalls and in addition consult local advocates, community leaders, and policy experts through a Community Cabinet. It's time to turn the page on politics as usual and restore faith and integrity in our elected leaders.

I Show Up.

And I Always Will.

When I say I'm going to do something, I will do everything in my power to follow through. And I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation for our elected leaders.

Here's just a few of the events my team and I attended over the past few days - everything from community meet & greets, to multiple candidate forums, to speaking with kids about running for office, to a car show where I learned more about cruising and why we need to repeal anti-cruising ordinances.

It seems pretty simple to me: Show Up. Listen. And honor your word.

Momentum is on our side and I can feel the wind in our sails. Insider experts are saying that our race is a toss-up, with our campaign closing the gap to only 3-5 points behind. As I’ve believed from the beginning, we can win this. The people of AD-52 crave new, responsive, and ethical leadership. But we need your help to cross the finish line strong:

Donate.  Volunteer.  Vote.
