Fred Duerr, is co-owner and Executive Chef at Rising Sun Inn in Telford. Rising Sun Inn opened in 2006. Prior to that Fred owned the Vernfield Station.

The best part of Fred's job is making people happy. Fred loves the instant feedback of serving food that people enjoy and providing an environment that is warm and welcoming.

Fred's greatest accomplishments is successfully running the Rising Sun Inn.
Some of Fred's favorite dishes to cook are Lobster Francaise, Bison Wellington and Bison Tenderloin. During holidays, Fred plays second fiddle to his Mom. Holidays are Fred's time to relax.

Fred's favorite food is pizza. He has his own brick oven at his home. 
Fred states "the Indian Valley has some excellent new eating and drinking establishments" and he enjoys visiting his colleagues in their own establishments.
Fred's first job was working in the kitchen at the Tremont Hotel in Lansdale. He then had the opportunity to work for Chef Tell. Fred worked as Chef Tell's food stylist on his TV show.

Theresa Paci, manager of the Rising Sun Inn, adds "We are passionate about sourcing as much local product and produce as we can. We are working on a new brunch menu and plans are currently underway to explore expanding the deck seating. Come visit us soon!"
