An angel had told Mary some information about her child that would be conceived and born on Christmas morning, the rest she wouldn't know until after His life, death and resurrection.
Mary didn't know on Christmas morning that her little boy would one day walk on water. She didn't know that He would one day save our son's and daughters. She didn't know that her little baby was heaven's perfect lamb or that the sleeping child that she was holding, was the great 'I Am'. She didn't know that the child she had delivered, would one day deliver her!
Sometimes what you don't know can end up being a great surprise. Sometimes what you don't know can be devastating! You and I can know not only His life's story, but we can also know Jesus intimately in all His power, love, forgiveness, mercy and grace. We can know Him as Father and as a friend who sticks closer than a brother even in the midst of life's greatest challenges.
So many in the world, over 1/3 of the world's population, have never even heard the name of Jesus. Because they haven't heard, they can't know Him, His love, or the hope that He gives. As you celebrate this Christmas season, know that God who came to us in the flesh to give His life so that we could have life ,knows you and He loves you no matter your past. He has a plan for your life no matter where you are or what you are facing.
Also, we ask that you would consider helping Cattle For Christ make His love known to all people around the world who otherwise have no hope and no chance to know Him or to experience His love, forgiveness, presence or eternal life, simply because they have never heard of the Christ of Christmas. What they don't know, they must hear! Please click the link below to learn more about what you can do this Christmas season to help us share the love and the Good News of Jesus with all the world.
Merry Christmas! We pray you experience the love and presence the of the living Christ this season.
