Do you ever wonder if your therapist is scheduling time in their own chair/massage table?  
Well, I have to confess, I was NOT..  So many times us service workers never take the time to rejuvenate ourselves.  We take care of everybody else, but never seem to have time for our own self care.   This needs to change.  The best service workers are the ones who put the effort into rest and family.  This makes us best equipped to focus on our clients needs.  Not to say that service workers who don't are not well intended, but I believe self care is essential.  I. myself,  never work Friday nights.  The weekends are for my family time and time to reflect on what is important to me.  Read on to learn how what else I do.

  Reflexology Is A Lifestyle!

 So last month I explained what the Thyroid is and what it does. I know that I have had a thyroid issue for quite sometime now.  But, according to the DR's standards, I am in the normal range.  Well guess what, WHO knows my body better then anybody else?  Duh, me.   I say that something is not right,  so now I need to be pro active to figure out what I need to do to fix it. Would it be easier to go on meds and let them work, yes.  BUT, I don't have that option, sooooo, everyday I apply oils to certain reflex points to my feet. Every oil has a purpose and some are excellent at feeding the thyroid. 
 -Every morning I use clove, rosemary and lemongrass, with my lotion, and apply to the bottom of my feet, concentrating on the thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, hypothalamus and solar plexus reflexes.  I also apply on my neck (thyroid location) and inhale the combination from my hands.  
-Slim and sassy/Metabolic Blend I use to increase my energy, and elevate my mood.  I will add a drop to my tongue to help manage cravings and rub on my stomach for an instant calmness.
- Lemon is always used in my water and either a drop of lime for healthy immune function or a drop of grapefruit for mental and physical fatigue and cleansing.
-Candida cleanse with GX assist and PB assist.  
Gx assist is a blend of oils that support a healthy GI Tract by decreasing pathogens in the gut, such as candida.
PB assist is a blend of several, active, whole food enzymes that help the break 
down of proteins, complex carbs, sugars and fiber, giving the body better digestion. 

I receive Reflexology once a month, plus I work on my own feet, drink lots of water, and walk.  I vowed that I would feel better this June, my Birthday month, and I do!!!!. 
I rarely feel like I need to take a nap during the day, my hormones are much more balanced and my energy has gone from a 3 to a 7.   They say that for every year 
you have been"sick",  it takes approx 1 month of treatment.  Well, all I can do is keep on moving forward and learning.   Don't get me wrong, I still have cravings and I still get cranky, but at a different level.  Feels good.  Some self control.
