Aarigaa tavrapiallak and congratulations to Laura Thomas and Jacklina Aikhionbare for receiving their Associate Degrees in Nursing from Alaska Pacific University (APU) this winter. Both Laura and Jacklina did their prerequisites at Iḷisaġvik as part of our pre-nursing partnership with APU and ASNA. We’re so proud of both of them, and also thrilled that both of them have daughters who are dual-credit students here at Iḷisaġvik!

Aarigaa Tavrapiallak to our Spring 2024 Dr. Birgit Meany Employee Scholarship recipients Emily and Alex!

Emily Gueco (IC's Institutional Research Coordinator) is pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Data Science from Northcentral University and Alex Dattilo (IC Training Facilitator) is pursuing his Bachelor's in Social Sciences from the University of Alaska Southeast.

We are truly proud and so lucky to have Emily and Alex here at Iḷisaġvik and are excited to see where they go with their degrees.

Free tutoring is available here at Iḷisaġvik College! If you are struggling with any course material, don't hesitate to ask for help. We offer both in person tutoring sessions at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) located in building 360, as well as online Zoom tutoring sessions. 

Also, don't forget that our library is an excellent place to study and access a wide range of academic resources, including books, journals, and online databases. We also offer workshops and study groups throughout the semester to help you develop effective study skills and improve your academic performance.
