Have you ever felt like you just don’t know what to say when you’re trying to be genuinely inclusive? Sometimes we struggle to know how to be the best allies and advocates for people in our own community, whose lives and identities are different from our own.
As the state of Florida, and many other states across the country, propose and pass legislation targeting the rights of LGBTQ+ people, particularly the rights of transgender and non-binary people, solidarity and allyship across lines of difference have never been more important. But sometimes we don’t even know where to start. Let’s get brave together and do the work of genuine inclusion.
Join us on Saturday, March 18, at 3:00 at MCC Tampa. We will be hosting an amazing workshop, Let's Get Brave Together: Courageous Conversations about Diversity and LGBTQ+ Identities” on March 18 at 3:00 p.m.” Register here.
In this interactive presentation, participants will explore opportunities to center curiosity and courage as we work together to co-create a community where all of us are respected and treated with kindness and dignity.
