Paul & Kristi went up the hill to fetch a pail.... oh, wait, that's not right! They're heading up the hill on Saturday afternoon (3/18/17 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.) for a special POP-UP FAMILY YOGA class at Black Unicorn (732 East Warrington Avenue) in Allentown! All families with children 4+ are welcome to this donation based class that we are leading in conjunction with Studio Eight27 !

We're thrilled to be returning to the Green Mountains of Vermont this summer for WANDERLUST STRATTON!  Interested in joining us for the June event!? Please let us know! AND, be sure to use promo code: "BYS Yoga" when buying your tickets to receive our 10% Studio Partner discount.
"One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art in conducting oneself in lower regions by memory of what one has seen higher up. When one can no longer see, once can at least still know.

When I read this Rene Daumal quote this week, I thought of climbing to the peak of a mountain... the whole vista spread out before you. You've taken the time and done the hard work of climbing to the top and you are rewarded by the incredible view and unique perspective. But that view - the knowledge of what you have seen and experienced - stays with you long after you have made your decent. You now know it. It's part of you.

I've been using this as an analogy when leading classes this week. Every action, intention, and breath we take as we move through our yoga practice stays with us. Our memory - physical, emotional, mental, spiritual - builds practice, by practice. Our experiences on and off the yoga mat are cumulative.

Keeping this in mind, perhaps challenge yourself to complete this sentence:

"I know....."

You may surprise yourself!
