Dear Friends and Partners:

As I sit in the warm, dry air of Arizona, getting ready to go to my first spring training baseball game, I can't help but reflect on the journey of Vet READY, Max Fab Consulting, and the future of veteran transition in the workplace. I dodged a bullet arriving here just before Montana was hit with brutal weather, but in many ways, that mirrors the work I've been doing such as navigating challenges, weathering storms, and pushing for meaningful change.

I've spoken to industry leaders for nearly four years, presenting them with an opportunity—not a burden, to help veterans thrive in their organizations. The message is compelling. I've moved people to tears during the awareness portion of my talks. But for too many, that's where it stops.

Despite the right words and emotional reactions, action remains elusive in a high percentage of organizations. Why? There are many reasons, but at the core, I believe it comes down to perceived effort—the assumption that the work of creating a veteran-ready culture is too complicated, too involved, or too far removed from daily business priorities. That perception needs to change.

So, I’m pivoting. Starting now, my newsletter will move to a quarterly format—a shift that allows me to provide you with a more comprehensive look at what's working, what's changing, and what is next. My goal has always been to plant seeds that grow beyond the structure of Vet READY. If organizations aren't ready to implement a structured program, can they at least take an hour to listen, reflect, and start the conversation?

That's where Max Fab Consulting steps in. I’ll be actively seeking out open-minded organizations and leaders who are willing to hear the realities of veteran transition and explore ways to truly demonstrate "Thank you for your service" in a way that matters. Sixty minutes of your time could plant the seed that transforms how veterans integrate into your workplace—and change lives in the process.

To those who have partnered with me, you have my deepest appreciation. To those still on the fence, now is the time to act. If you have the courage to bring me in to speak with your leadership team, let's make real change happen together. You have the power to shift the future for veterans.

The question is: Will you?

We'll check back in a few months. In the meantime, if you're ready to take that first step, let's talk.

Jump in—let's do this.

Stay Max Fab,

Dave
