Leah Shirey and her family welcoming their new baby home last week.
Shortly after deciding to host Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Troy, Ohio, Leah Shirey announced she was pregnant! She's been planning and fundraising all the way through her third pregnancy, individually raising $1,880, and just welcomed baby Zachary Hudson home last week!

Working with Leah has been a fun reunion for Nadia and Kim from the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ staff - all three met and worked together as managers at an ice rink in college!

With the leadership of Co-Host Jen Sentman, the Troy Skating Club will celebrate their fundraising efforts with a Frozen 5k, Road Race Walk/Run 5k, Health Fair, and more this Saturday, September 20th!
"We realize that cancer plays no favorites, and everyone has a story of how cancer has impacted their life. We want to use our gift of skating as a way to give back to our community and beyond. We hope to empower our club members, their families and our community members to come together and help us Turn Cancer Upside Down™!"
