I wish I could write to you personally about the changes that we have to make as a result of COVID-19.

All of us at Solid Bite hope that you are getting through this time in your life as comfortably as possible. We value you as a patient and appreciate the trust that you have shown us.

So, here's the first bit of news, if you have not heard it already. The Governor has closed all dental offices until May 8 for all elective procedures. We will be available for your emergencies should they occur during this time. Here's a flyer from the American Dental Association that defines what an emergency is: https://files.constantcontact.com/432b795c001/06537c06-1f8b-4f4b-91cf-8930d2aaeeba.png

For our active patients that have appointments for periodontal, dental, and surgical care, we are contacting each of you by phone to reschedule your appointments after May 8. For those scheduled for periodontal maintenance care (cleanings), we are also rescheduling you on a priority basis. Those that are more prone to periodontal breakdown will be scheduled as first priority. Those who are maintaining their periodontal health will, of necessity, be a second priority. Our intention is to work extra days and hours when we get back so that no one is delayed too much in their treatment. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Your dental health is our priority. And to do that, we are now concentrating to be sure that the needs of our staff are met during this time so that they will be ready and able to help you when this crisis is over.

If you have an emergency, please call us at our regular number, (321) 259-9980. Please leave a message and we will call you back shortly. We're fortunate that we have both a board-certified surgeon and exceptional general dentist here to serve you during this time. So if you need us, we're here.

Do well. Stay safe. Make the most out of this as you can.

And I'm sure you, as well as we, will get through this as safely and as comfortably as we can.

We look forward to seeing you when this is all over.

Lee Sheldon
