Welcome to the 3rd edition of our monthly member newsletter. 

In this issue, we have some very informative member-only resources on managing reputation in a crisis situation as well as the latest issue of the  Communication World (CW) magazine as part of your membership benefits. We encourage you to share your profile as well as your works to be featured in the Member Spotlight section in the forthcoming issues of this newsletter.

We would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for being an IABC Member! The newly constituted Board of the India Chapter aims to revive the activities of the Chapter and revitalize it while growing its membership base. To this end, we solicit your ideas, suggestions, and support in rebuilding the India Chapter of IABC. This newsletter is a step toward creating a new, energized IABC community in India. 

Thanks to all the Delhi NCR IABC India members for attending the first informal get-together held earlier this month at the DLF Golf Course Pavilion, Gurgaon. We plan to have a series of evening informal get-togethers and breakfast sessions with well-known speakers in select cities in the latter half of the year.

Please encourage your friends and industry colleagues to join IABC  or  reinstate  your membership if it's due for renewal. Feel free to share this newsletter, contribute to it, and help us expand the IABC network in the country.

IABC Delhi/NCR Members Get-together at DLF Golf & Country Club

Delhi/NCR members of the India Chapter came together for the first time, making the most of an introductory meeting. It was great to see enthusiastic comms professionals hit it off instantly discussing various topics of interest over cocktails, kebabs, and live music. The event was held at the picturesque DLF Golf Course Pavilion in Gurgaon. We took to Twitter to express our appreciation to those who made time to come together and meet as a group. Dr. Shilpee Dasgupta is a Ph. D in Communication Studies from IIT Kharagpur. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in General Management at IIM Ranchi. Her expertise lies in corporate, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication. She also coaches on assertiveness, public relations, conflict resolution, presentation, and writing skills.
