IAC Invites Springfield Area Artists, Organizations to Coffee and Conversation with the Illinois Arts Council and Arts Alliance Illinois

Join the Illinois Arts Council and Arts Alliance Illinois for a morning of connection and resource sharing with fellow Springfield artists and creative organizations! Hear from the Illinois Arts Council and learn firsthand about what their recent grant program changes may mean for your arts practice or programming. Connect with the Arts Alliance Help Desk to find resources for supporting your creative business or nonprofit.

About the event:

The Illinois Arts Council (IAC) has announced bold changes to their grant programs starting with Fiscal Year 2025. Come meet Angelique Grandone, the new Program Director covering Springfield and the central region in IAC’s new regional breakout. Also hear from Jackie Banks-Mahlum, Director of Programs, about IAC’s Fiscal Year 2025 grant opportunities.

The Arts Alliance Help Desk – which you may know from the B2B Arts program – is expanding into your one-stop shop for navigating all things public funding for the arts! Megan Lewis and Johnna Schultz, the Public Funding Navigators, will answer your questions about how to find or apply for grants or loans and preview our upcoming programming on loans, starting a creative business or nonprofit, and more.

This convening is offered in conjunction with Arts Alliance Illinois Spring 2024 legislative campaign for the arts. This event is free and advanced registration is requested.
