As you are aware, 137/138 members gave written ballots in supporting the both resolutions during the GBM held on 10/31/21.
Chairman Vir Nanda had originally supported idea of demanding President to cancel the member mandated GBM requested by 100 members, planned according to IACA bylaws.
Later he abstained from a voting to call the President to call off the GBM.
He was signatory to a letter demanding the President to inform members that member mandated GBM and the resolutions are invalid.
Then he attends GBM on 10/31/21 and presides over the GBM( which he had called invalid). He was aware of the rules of engagement that mail-in ballots will be counted towards the quorum. He adjourns the meeting citing lack of quorum and leaves the meeting. President continued the meeting. Members submitted ballots. Counting took place. 137/138 people endorsed the resolutions.
Now the Board(9 members) headed by Mr. Vir Nanda wants use IACA funds to serve a notice on the President. Board using an attorney to Threaten the President is ABUSE and MISUSE of Power. President has to fight with the board to seek for a legal opinion.
