A Deep Dive into Perkins V Enrollment and Performance Data
In October, the U.S. Department of Education released data from states’ Consolidated Annual Report submissions for program year 2020-21 – the first year that states reported performance data under Perkins V. The dataset includes CTE participant numbers, CTE concentrator numbers and CTE concentrator performance on Perkins accountability indicators, including the secondary program quality indicators new under Perkins V, disaggregated by race, general and special population groups. Inclusive CTE Goal-setting Tool
In 2022, ACTE contributed to the development of a new data tool focused on helping CTE leaders set goals to increase the representativeness of their systems to better reflect the communities in which they are situated. Advance CTE’s Achieving Inclusive CTE Goal-setting Tool helps leaders more intentionally plan to recruit, engage and support underrepresented learner groups to increase access to high-quality CTE programs and career pathways.
