COVID-19 Vaccination Program
Provider Agreement
All health care providers and organizations interested in receiving and administering COVID-19 vaccines in Iowa are required to complete the CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Program Provider Agreement. IDPH has asked us to share that they will utilize a REDCap survey to document provider acceptance of the terms to serve as a COVID-19 vaccine provider. This link will take you to a letter from the IDPH which will direct you to the REDCap survey. Additionally, a Frequently Asked Questions document will provide assistance in completing the COVID-19 Pandemic Vaccination Provider Agreement.

Additional COVID-19 vaccine resources may be found on the Department’s COVID-19 Vaccine Information page. Questions regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine Provider Agreement can be directed to the IDPH Immunization Program at 1-800-831-6293 or COVID19Vaccines@idph.iowa.gov.

Three Things to Know About the
Coming E/M Coding Changes

The most consequential changes to evaluation and management (E/M) coding in decades are coming soon, and it’s time to prepare now. When they take effect Jan. 1, 2021, you will no longer need to document the patient’s history of present illness or exam components. Instead, you will be able to document office visit codes 99202-99215 using only total time or medical decision making. Coding for prolonged services will also be simplified.
The IAFP neither recommends or endorses the paid ads included in this publication.
