ABOUT LMT SEVA - IN MEMORY OF MY BELOVED FATHER!

LMT SEVA which stands for Lalji Mangala Tiwari (My Parents name) a non-profit organization was created due to my father dying of COVID back in 2021. We initially started this organization to dedicate/support people who were fighting from COVID by providing food and helping them financially. Thankfully COVID cases have been slowing down, but we continue to want to help people and one area which we felt like could use some help is Healthcare. So, we decided to extend our reach, by opening LMT SEVA HOSPITAL (Gorakhpur, India). This Hospital is open as a charity hospital providing basic life support care at a very reasonable cost. This is an area where a lot of assistance is needed. Medical services are overpriced almost everywhere, and we are trying to do our part by making medical care easy and accessible to the community who are less likely to be able to afford it. The goal is to make this hospital completely free but to do that we will need help from everyone. Please become a member and donate whatever you can to support the people in need. https://lmtseva.com/

Cultural Destinations Booth at Minnesota State Fair

By Bruce Corrie

I had the opportunity of a lifetime when the Minnesota State Fair offered me a booth in the Education building. My project, Cultural Destinations, featured 50+ cultural businesses who offered Minnesota resources on how to enjoy that cultural dish, gift or fashion accessory.

This 6 minute video https://youtu.be/ur4rlCiQ1JM summarizes the experience of the booth and you can hear and see top Minnesota leaders from the Governor and Lt Governor to legislators, new DEED Commissioner Varilek and Cong Omar and AG Ellison - all taking the time to celebrate cultural entrepreneurs. You will also see the many things that happened at the booth - many spontaneous...fashion shows, boxing, interactive art with the renowned Chicano artist Jimmy Longoria, music, podcasts...
