Dear Valued IAQA Member:
We are facing uncharted territory for our industry. It has come to our attention that some local governments are unsure as to whether or not indoor air quality professionals should be considered "essential workforce". We have developed the
attached letter
to explain the important role many of our members serve within the community to ensure safe conditions. This letter has been shared with the federal government as well as all governors nationwide. We suggest you share this letter with local officials as well.
It is important that our members are allowed to provide the necessary services to keep our communities safe. We are also working with our Allied Industry Partners to strengthen our united position as leaders in safety and sanitation.
