Dear friends and colleagues,

The focus of this issue of the IASWECE Newsletter is a review of the World Conference on Early Childhood Education held in Dornach in April 2019. You will find a detailed article by Gilda Rhien about the conference ("Life should be like a kindergarten"), feedback from conference participants and the "wishes, tasks and intentions for the future" formulated by participants of the discussion groups.  We hope to be able to send a written summary of the presentations and links to the video recordings of the presentations in the October.

You will also find two articles that we would have liked to send you much earlier, if the organization of the conference had not taken up all our time: a report on the trainers' meeting in Ireland in October 2018 and the presentation of an initiative in a civil-war-torn country in West Africa, carried by people who want to have a social impact through Waldorf Education.

A short report on a recent colloquium on working with the child from birth to three completes this issue.
