IASWECE Newsletter

November 2022

Dear Colleagues and Friends around the World!

In the days and years of my childhood, my only unforgettable character was the rain. (Pablo Neruda)

To develop our interest in others and in life, our deep attention, is perhaps the most important task of the human being. From the spiritual world the child brings imitation, that immense capacity to be one with the other. And from this profound gesture of closeness, of surrender, curiosity is born, as a tender precursor of interest. Nature offers the child infinite possibilities to unfold its curiosity, its wonder, to merge with its vital forces, to experience inter-essere: to be in between, to care. Let us allow the child to get close to Nature!

We hope that this newsletter will bring you inspiration for your home and your dedication to children. And don't forget to read the information about the activities of IASWECE and the invitation of the Pedagogical Section to the World Teachers' Conference.

Very warm greetings,

Lourdes Tormes

Eurythmy in Kindergarten

by Sabine Deimann

Eurythmy in Kindergarten is a beautifully illustrated answer to the question: why eurythmy in kindergarten? This unique, artistic form of movement with its deep connection to the formative power of speech is especially important for the development of young children’s speech, which is increasingly under threat in our times.
