Job Posting – Junior Professor Chair: PRESAGER: System Pharmacology Augmented by Artificial Intelligence |
|
We are pleased to announce the opening of a Junior Professorship position at Limoges University, France, commencing on December 1, 2025. This is a four-year position, with a gross monthly salary of €3,618 (approximately €3,000 net) supported by €200,000 in research funding to facilitate the recruitment of PhD students or postdoctoral researchers. The position is intended as a pathway to a permanent professorship, contingent upon a successful tenure review and interview with the tenure commission.
We are seeking outstanding postdoctoral candidates with expertise in causal AI and/or pharmacometrics, who are eager to advance research at the interface of multiscale and multisource modeling—integrating AI with mechanistic approaches—particularly in the domain of personalized therapy with anti-infective and immunosuppressive drugs. The successful candidate will join the dynamic research team “Pharmacology and Transplantation” (https://www.unilim.fr/p-and-t/en/presentation/) working alongside pharmacometricians, data scientists, biostatisticians, and other researchers. The team has authorized access to nationwide healthcare databases, ensuring immediate opportunities for high-impact research.
The initial teaching load will be reduced, with a minimum of 42 hours per year at the faculty of pharmacy, focusing on subjects such as AI, mathematics, and computer science, to allow the candidate to prioritize research activities.
Finally, Limoges offers an excellent quality of life, with affordable living costs and a rich cultural and natural environment in the heart of France.
The deadline for applications is July 11, 2025. Interviews with the selection committee will take place between October 7 and 10, 2025, and the position will officially begin on December 1, 2025.
Please note that there is no internal candidate.
