As part of the IATR 2026 Annual Conference (September 14–17), the IATR is convening association leaders from licensed and regulated industries and stakeholder organizations for the second consecutive year. The goal of this summit session is to facilitate a discussion on critical issues facing regulators, the industry, and the riding public. Each organization will provide an overview of their current conferences, reports, research initiatives, legislative priorities, and lobbying efforts to help regulators better understand the needs of licensed drivers, businesses, advocacy groups, and private stakeholders.
Topics for Discussion:
Driverless vehicles, the insurance crisis, public-private partnerships, labor concerns, reciprocity, regulatory modernization, and electrification.
