We take great pride in announcing that Deborah Schrimmer, Senior Advisor for Community and Urban Charging at the U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation will be delivering a keynote address at the 36th Annual Conference of the International Association of Transportation Regulators (IATR).
Debs Schrimmer is the Senior Advisor for Community and Urban Charging, where she’s making it possible for everyone to ride and drive electric. Previously, she was a director at Lyft, where she oversaw policy research and development for the company’s micromobility division, partnered with cities on innovative street design and curb management strategies, and established the first rideshare partnerships with transit agencies in the country. Prior to Lyft, she worked as a digital policy strategist at Code for America and as a transportation planner at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments. Debs received her B.S. from the University of California, Davis, is an honoree of the Women’s Transportation Seminar, and has served on the Board of the California Transportation Foundation.
IATR's President Matt Daus said, "We are excited that Senior Advisor Debs Schrimmer will be joining us at IATR to share the latest EV policy, funding, and technology developments at the USA Federal government level. Debs, who works closely with our good friend Gabe Klein, is not only pioneering this new important office, but truly understands the IATR’s regulated industries and how state and local regulators can help make a difference in greening for hire vehicles fleets in the US and beyond."
