Dear Tubman Families,

We are thrilled to kick off the 19th Annual Tubman Fun Run fundraiser this Wednesday! This is an amazing opportunity to support our school and help us raise much-needed funds for curriculum, staffing and technology. Our goal this year is to raise $60,000 and to have 80% of our students register for the program and I know that we can do it.  Please visit mybooster.com to register your student and be a part of the excitement as we count down to our Fun Run event on Friday, October 3.

Please take a few minutes to review these results with your child and celebrate their growth.

We’re also excited to share that Out of School Time (OST), YMCA enrichment, and other after-school classes are starting soon! Details and registration links are included below—don’t miss out on the new opportunities available this year.

GO CPS Fall Application & Testing Timeline 

• 9/23/2025: GO CPS application opens for Families Applying to K through 9th grade at 10AM.
• 10/8/2025: CPS HSAT for Current CPS Students.
• 10/15/2025: CPS HSAT for current CPS Students, alternative language.
• 11/14/2025: GO CPS application closes for Families Applying to K through 9th grade at 5PM.

Click here for a guide to the HSAT (High School Admissions Test). Tubman 8th grade students will be administered the HSAT at Tubman.

There will be a series of live training sessions for families to become familiar with the fall GOCPS admissions process. Families are encouraged to attend any of the training sessions listed below. Families can also sign up for training via the link on the GOCPS website.

Please make sure your student's Emergency Form with current information has been turned into the main office. It is important for your student's correct address to be entered in ASPEN.

Friends of Tubman is an all-volunteer group of parents and caregivers dedicated to making Tubman a great school for all students through fundraising and community events. Volunteers must complete the CPS volunteer registration and volunteer approval is valid for one school year.
