Dear Tubman Families,

This is an exciting week at Tubman as we count down to the 19th Annual Tubman Fun Run event this Friday, October 3. We are a third of the way to meeting our goal of raising $60,000 and having 80% of students register, but we need everyone's support to reach it. Every registration, donation and share on MyBooster.com makes a difference.

But the Fun Run is much more than a fundraiser, it is a celebration of our incredible school and community. I invite you to join us on Friday to cheer on our students and celebrate this special Tubman event. Weather permitting, activities will be outside on the North Turf and on Seminary Ave.

• 8:15 - 9:00 AM: Pre-K and K 
• 9:00 - 9:45 AM: 1st and 2nd
• 9:45 -10:30 AM: 3rd and 4th 
• 12:00 - 12:45 PM: 5th 
• 1:30 - 2:15 PM: 6th-8th: Color Run

GO CPS Fall Application & Testing Timeline 

• 9/23/2025: GO CPS application opens for Families Applying to K through 9th grade at 10AM.
• 10/8/2025: CPS HSAT for Current CPS Students.
• 10/15/2025: CPS HSAT for current CPS Students, alternative language.
• 11/14/2025: GO CPS application closes for Families Applying to K through 9th grade at 5PM.

There will be a series of live training sessions for families to become familiar with the fall GOCPS admissions process. Families are encouraged to attend any of the training sessions listed below. Families can also sign up for training via the link on the GOCPS website.

Please make sure your student's Emergency Form with current information has been turned into the main office. It is important for your student's correct address to be entered in ASPEN.

Friends of Tubman is an all-volunteer group of parents and caregivers dedicated to making Tubman a great school for all students through fundraising and community events. Volunteers must complete the CPS volunteer registration and volunteer approval is valid for one school year.
